Teachers College professor Robbie McClintock has started a blog called Formative Justice, designed to help encourage and foment “the education and culture that all persons merit.” Robbie is a thinker who is at once radical and pragmatic, and I respect him profoundly (I’ve read his book Enough twice!). So I was psyched when he invited me to join Formative Justice as a contributor. The blog is new, but it already has some great work up from Sam Rocha and Robbie himself.
My first contribution is a cross-post of the “Adventures in Horizontal Education” piece I wrote for Curriculum Veto. I suspect that in the future, Formative Justice will house my posts focusing explicitly on pedagogy and the dynamics of higher ed. There will still be plenty going on here at CV, though, so stay tuned!
